Whether we are talking about your food or your home/personal care products, your ingredient list should be easy to understand.
The more whole foods represented, the better.
The fewer chemical or catchy names (like "parfum" or "fragrance") the healthier.
If a product claims to be scented with essential oils, but then doesn't have the Latin plant name in it - put it down and find another. A pure essential oil product should not have "fragrance" in the ingredient list.
You've likely heard of Phthalates and Parabens. Those are important to avoid for your endocrine health (think reproductive and thyroid health.)
But you may not have thought about the dyes, sulfates or even formaldehyde that is often found in conventional personal care products like soaps, shampoos, perfumes, and make-up.
Young Living has some fantastic plant-based options for all your personal care needs. My recommendation is starting by switching out your soaps and skincare products.
There is a VERY clear connection between aromas and emotions.
But when you choose to unwind with the fragrances of typical store-bought candles or air fresheners, you are doing more harm than good. Your body is being overloaded with toxins that compound and have long-lasting results.
Instead of the synthetic fragrances you'll find in conventional candles and fresheners, opt for pure essential oils in your diffuser. The plant oils actively improve your body's physical and emotional wellness as you enjoy them!
When you become one of my Young Living customers, I've got specific emotional oil ideas for you as well as a 21 Day protocol for releasing negative emotions with oils.
We love to clean our homes, right? But many of the products that "clean" actually fill our homes with "dirty" chemicals that cause many of the illnesses and disorders we see people struggle with today.
The truth is, plants can clean and disinfect our homes safely. And they simultaneously improve our immune health!
Start with an easy switch - ditch all the cleaners under your sink and purchase just ONE cleaner that does it ALL: Thieves Household Cleaner. This concentrate makes 40+ bottles of cleaner from just one bottle!! And it's safe for everyone in your house!
